A high school journalism class set Rose on a path to incorporating writing into a career. She was especially drawn to writing about people and using words to capture who they are and what they experienced.
Now, as a communications professional, Rose has the opportunity to connect with people daily, whether in a client meeting to set goals or during an interview to craft a news release or feature story.
Her friendly, outgoing personality is an asset as she strives to become part of clients’ teams and the school communities she supports.
Rose also finds motivation in the wall of sticky notes behind her desk. She writes words of inspiration on them and reminders. One that says, “Don’t Kill My Vibe,” is a light reminder to remain positive. This is especially important when a client issue or crisis arises.
Rose’s adaptability and ability to remain calm make her an ideal consultant for these situations. She is strategic in her approach, sticking to the plan when necessary but knowing when to pivot. Her large and loud Italian family has really prepared her to function well amid chaos!
That family is also why Rose thrives as a member of a team. She takes something from each member, open to learning something new each day. That willingness to learn and grow ultimately benefits her clients.
