Account Associate

Megan’s passion for communications began with a curiosity about why people act the way they do and how effective messaging can inspire action. A recent Rutgers University graduate, she brings a fresh perspective to digital communications, blending creativity, strategy, and strong commitment to community.

At Rutgers, Megan helped organize COMMchella, a festival to promote the School of Communication and Information that drew more than 3,000 student attendees. This experience strengthened her leadership and event planning skills, showcasing her ability to bring people together around meaningful stories and backgrounds.

Megan believes strong storytelling and leadership can inspire communities and drive change.

Megan especially values the power of storytelling to highlight all that is remarkable within local communities and create purposeful connections. She developed strong skills in writing and design through a group project in her Virtual Team Dynamics course, where she created five pages of content for an educational booklet titled Diversity and Inclusion in Teams.

Leadership is central to Megan’s work ethic. Her passion for education runs deep, and she enjoyed helping students reach their full potential while working as a substitute teacher during college. Now at Laura Bishop Communications, Megan merges the best of both worlds: communications and community impact.

Eager to continue growing professionally, Megan stays up on trends in communications and community engagement. She supports team efforts by keeping communication clear, teams aligned, and energy strong to deliver meaningful results.
