Lodi Schools Inform and Inspire Through Monthly Publication
THE SITUATION
Lodi Public Schools needed assistance developing consistent communications to share monthly achievements of students and staff with a diverse audience of families, staff, community members and alumni. With five elementary schools, a middle school and a high school all generating unique content, the district required a unified editorial voice to transform updates into a sophisticated publication that reinforced its “Be A Champion” mission.
THE STRATEGY
The LBC team, in collaboration with the Lodi Public Schools administrative team and school principals, manages the end-to-end editorial production of monthly newsletters created in the Smore platform. Our team coordinates with district staff to ensure timely submission of all school highlights and upcoming events. We edit content to ensure a cohesive tone, and conduct interviews for “Faculty Spotlight” and “Alumni Spotlight” features. To enhance visual appeal, we use photos and design graphics that highlight key district initiatives and milestones.
THE WIN
The Champions’ Chronicle has become go-to communication for the Lodi school community, reaching thousands of subscribers with a perfect balance of information and inspiration. By providing high-level editorial oversight and creative design, we have helped the district foster deeper transparency and school pride. In the 2025-26 school year, the publication averages more than 3,400 views per month, with a peak of 5,770 views in February 2026 and a 10-minute average read time. These features have strengthened “Lodi Pride” and ensured the district’s stories are told with the clarity and impact they deserve.
